A Sorry State of Affairs
Thursday, October 9th, 2008Here’s how things stand:
We are in the midst of a global economic meltdown, caused by irresponsible deregulation of the greediest industry on the face of the earth.
The Republican party, out of ideas, is now blaming policies that promoted home ownership for the middle class, rather than accepting that their lack of oversight led to the problem.
In a sorry attempt to redirect our attention (that would have gotten the worst magician booed of the stage) cute Sarah Palin is suggesting that a constitutional law scholar “pals around with terrorists” when her own husband is a member of a political group that believes Alaska should seceed from the U.S.
On the bright side, gasoline prices are starting to come down - because the economy has ground to a halt.
Our publisher is still missing.
And I’m trying to make a living selling poison dart frogs.
